Teacher banned after telling Muslim child that Britain is Christian country
Primary-school employee sacked having allegedly admonished students for washing feet in sinks.

A teacher was banned from working with children after telling a Muslim child that “Britain is still a Christian state” after he caught the student washing his feet in the sink.

Is Britain still a Christian country?

Muslims perform wudu, the ritual ablution before prayer, which involves washing the face, arms, head, and feet.

Traditionally, the feet are washed with water, and this is often done in a sink.

Prolly not, but hey "at least we don't have to speak German" right?

Permissive in all ways except those that matter.

"He who is not angry, whereas he has cause to be, sins. For unreasonable patience is the hotbed of many vices, it fosters negligence, and incites not only the wicked but the good to do wrong."
-John Chrysostom, Archbishop of Constantinople, 349 - 407 AD

If I wanted to undermine and quietly strangle a population, I would inculcate within them a reflexive and unreasonable flailing against tradition. Parents are big mean and I'm gonna drag my butthole all over the counter and put my feet on the dash and there's nothing you can do about it DAD.
Teachers shouldn't interfere with children praying and performing religious acts in their own time when it's not harming and affecting others.

The UK is not Christian, the majority are atheists and barely 5% of people ever visit a church each year.

It's interesting though when many right wingers, who claim to support freedom of religion and freedom of the individual, oppose such things for non-whites and non-Christians.
Religion is the trap, any religion is bad for us.

It is but that seemed like a pretty racist and uneccesary thing to say. It's not even a christian school.
