unlikely, Putin doesn't usually poke our airspace down here, he prefers to test our northern reaches most of the time.

its likely refuelling/ combined forces training as thats most common.

Just be glad they are not breaking the sound barrier constantly.

I used to live on an Air Force base...... Wanna talk about LOUD? I lived several miles from the runway, but, the F106's sitting at the end of the runway, running their engines up to full throttle, and kicking in the afterburner, and sitting there for 30 seconds or so...... The whole house would shake.... I was actually surprised I still had glass in the windows. :D

they do, on occasion, but thats usually intercepting emergency squawks.

I used to live near RAF Benson, helicopters *everywhere*. I love the bass of a two rotor helo.

Oh man I get some of them new jets flying over my area / house from time to time and I tell ya, whatever they're flying these days, it's WAYYY louder than it ever was. And they fly low. I'm talking entire house shaking, stop everything and wait because can't even hardly hear yourself think, loud .. lol

I'm used to it though, considering where I live, which I won't mention

I think the f35s are louder than the other military fast jets we get overhead.

Weirdly enough, I live not far from a small regional airport and I rarely hear the commuter jets flying in and out.

That's probably what I have flying over my house too then, I truly don't know. But F-35's sounds accurate

Lately tbh though (maybe enough people complained) they've been flying a bit higher so it's not -quite- as loud as it was once

It's almost like you can hear them coming from 2 miles away lol

You could use a buoy system in the ocean to detect the F-35's with audio as they come.

I don't see them having "stealth" in a Pacific War.
