Accurate Gabecube pricing
Considering current hardware component production levels and approximate value, as well as external factors like tariffs and shortages:
It will be 1300 USD, and 2000 USD for the pro version. Before shipping. Before tip.

Source: Gut feeling.

It’s gotta be $1299.99 and $1999.99 to look inexpensive
People who think it will be $600 are gone be in for a surprise for sure.

It's like people are unaware that consoles are sold at a 100-200 USD loss per unit, because they'll make it back on sales/subscriptions. GabeCube won't have that.
So unless Valve got really good deals with manufacturers, it will cost at minimum more than consoles by default.

It's gonna be bad. GabeCube is gonna be dead on arrival.
I keep saying, if it's six times as powerful as the deck, it'll be at least six times the price. It'll definitely be brutal.
Only choices are $33 $333 $3333 pick 1

It'll be some 666 riddle. Like Apple's black not-quite-cube NexTcube or w/e back in the day. The Apple I sold for 666.66.

Could be 2160. To hit the diameter of the moon in miles, and also get that 216 for 6x6x6. 1,560 is also feasible. Gabe's birthday is also 11/3. So maybe they do 1103, or 1313.

Gabe probably is too if he thinks he can sell it for the same price as selling a P.C.

Steam already said they won't sell their machines at a loss like consoles, because that 30% isn't nearly enough to cover for the potential losses. Especially since the steam client isn't locked to specific hardware. Hence why they were explicit about pricing it like a PC. Look into things rather making presumptions about what's economically feasible, aye?
