Santa got my kid a ps5 and made his friends parents mad.
I was shamed last year because "santa" got my 6 year old a ps5 for christmas. My girlfriends trashy ass best friend who lives off welfare and doesn't take care of her children made snarky remarks about how the expensive items should be from mom and dad and not santa because her son(my sons best friend) wanted to know why santa clause never brings him gifts like that.

This year, santa is bringing my 6 year old a nintendo switch 2. At what age should children learn that lifes not fair?

The older i get(Currently 29) the more i feel like a dad from the movie "old dads".

I would recommend you to not buy expensive devices for child, who has no scene of value of objects, They will break it soo easily and won't understand anything,

Not every child is careless. Some are actually quite smart and gentle.
The parent should know whether their child deserves it or not.

Nature will take it's course. The child will eventually learn on their own. Sometimes you just can't teach certain things like "value".
Normally those things develop over time from experience.

If I was her, I'd just tell my kid Santa isn't real, and then they can teach your kid what you refuse to.
Just tell her kid that there are rich Santas and poor Santas, and it looks like the poor Santa visited her house/trailer.
The other parents needs to learn to take the L. Go home and shag or something instead of worrying about kids hardware.

Maybe she got a full sack of gifts tho.. ..

She got so many presents there's none left for the other trailer moms.
Tbh you kid's gonna grow up as entitled as your gf's friend if you keep on spoiling a kid that young.

Don't worry, if you hate your son so much that you are going to subject him to the Scumtaro Furukawa's Nintendo treatment I'm sure thast he will learn that life is unfair perfectly well from the most experienced teacher in that regard.
Calling a PS5 'expensive' is wild :lolemoji::lolemoji::lolemoji:

Well depends what you're paying for.

If it's junkyard hardware that you are overpaying for then it's expensive.
people complain all the time when they feel out of power. I sent a £5000 gaming pc to my daughter last xmas and was sent back smashed in a box with you need to match my spending limit my solicitor will be in contact about alienating me as a parent. Good job she does not know about the bank account in my daughters name if she thinks 5k is too much.
Tell him Santa gives nicer presents to nicer kids LMAO :steamlaughcry:

Personally I'm more concerned about hooking kids on screens at such young age.
However, it's none of your gf's friend business, and it's crazy how jealous women can be and won't hesitate to bring their friend's relatives down.
