Not really, If i vote for the green party in NZ and they get into power we could have a 33% inheritance tax, By watching politics i know this but if i voted blind i could get screwed.

That's what politics in the modern sense along with modern philosophy was invented to replace in real life anyway, so you're not very far off the mark.
Still if you're being genuine, yes politics is tiresome and the old forum rules should return.
