Hollow Knight Silksong winning best action adventure, seems very questionable

Sure it probably should won best indie game due to its small team size and small budget.

But instead end up winning best action adventure over games like Split Fiction or Death Stranding 2 seems very questionable to me.

2025 was a weak year for action adventure games. Pretty much all of them are mid, at best.

You probably not wrong there, like in what world should a 3 people team that make a well polished but not in any way revolutionary game be considered the winner?

Split Fiction was probably the game that deserved the nod but I guess they won stuff including the game of the year in the past did not help them.
