Gen Z is maining on phones
69% (nice) of Gen Z predominantly games on phones.

We are the old farts, now. Grab a seat a nurse will be checking on you from time to time to wipe off your drool.

This is by design and also bad parenting.
When it is tech time I want a full PC, at least 2 big fat honkin' monitors, a mechanical keyboard, a mouse, a good chair, speakers...- plus as a content creator I need a whole bunch of other peripherals.

This means a dedicated tech space. Call it a workstation, a battlestation, an office.

I need the full setup to be a joy to use.

I won't settle for less.

That said, my phone is more powerful than the quad core PC I had a decade ago.

Cell phones are an algae bloom. In their current form they have no future.

Their poor necks. They're going to look very hunchbacked by the time they're in their 50s.

Our computers(all types and forms ranging from the almighty PC to those accursed phones) all are massively more powerful- and they feel slower than maybe ever with everything being nothing but spyware bloat these days.

Tech is moving in the wrong directions!

If you haven't noticed... gen z is not very bright..... Not to mention, a cool breeze hurts their feelings.

I was just thinking about this earlier. Until the other generations stop treating it as a spiritual or character failure, it cannot be solved. We know of dozens of prescriptions drugs, nutritional deficits, and other toxic exposures that can produce identical behavior in animal models. Some given in early childhood, others during gestation.

The older generations have essentially turned a blind eye to something they helped maim, and now are attacking them for failing to triumph over their maimed state. It's ridiculous, not to mention pathetic.

The most important lessons in life are learned on the playground.

Playgounds be empty of everyone but tots, these days. Every now and again I might see two or three guys on the basketball court, but not crowds like back in the day.

I should point out that in 2015 I had created a tech business out of thin air and would massively soup up other people's computers remotely and then show them tech in plain English.

And I had built a power rig and man! I was just whipping along with that sucker! Functionally, it was my fastest rig.

This very rig is on paper a good generation + more powerful and it never was zippy to operate with all the bloat these days. Everything feels more sluggish these days.

And both PCs are due for replacement as they now are aging. It's gonna cost $$$$ to get 2 new builds rolling.

Cha-ching!

Yeah, I was there. I know exactly where you're coming from and can see myself having come to the same conclusions. But I'm telling you, there's more to the story.

Developmental windows aside (which are partially irreversible, near as I can tell) an accurate view of the genesis and sustaining forces of a given state is necessary to effectively get someone from A to B.

We just had our walk and this time we went to some nearby parks.

Nobody was there.

Maybe 5 years ago there might have been hot girls who saw me and my green lab and things might have turned X rated.

These *#((& phones have turned everyone's minds to mush.

One factor of a very long list, many of which are sensitizers or synergistic toxins. But yes, wireless infrastructure is a particular potent factor. For several reasons, which I researched thoroughly, made predictions 10 years ago that came true, and tried to tell everyone about but they were already hypnotized by the current thing and following the herd so they didn't care and still don't. For me this is basically the hellscape I envisioned and tried to stop from happening. Once we're all dead or have induced alzheimers-like neurodegeneration, no one will remember, even if they feel something is very wrong.
