Christmas.
But if I ever wanted to buy something., I just do it.
Heck, I do that with everything. To heck with holidays, resolutions and all that nonsense.
When something needs to happen I just do it.
I got you, brother. Gave me a good laugh!
Absolutely. When it comes to buying stuff to myself, I do it whenever I want - or when the price is good enough.
That said, I hate that.
I hate buying gifts and thinking of what to present to the relatives for Christmas.
If they truly want something, they most certainly already have it or have bought it themselves for Christmas, and now there's me who's supposed and expected to figure it out, right?
I mean, I could also do with the joking presents, but that's just lazy to me.
If I wanna give them something, then it better gets used multiple times and even then gets to work. Like some fancier clothes, that stuff.
- But the whole hassle around it, to make it in time, to come up with it..
People do call Christmas as holidays.
Yet, I can't see it. I can't help it.. It is easily the most stressful months in the entire year for me. The whole December and January. Constant pressure from the society about the gifts, making it in time, and all..
And I'm also supposed to know what they desire, right? Despite ignoring that I don't really see relatives a lot, besides like three times a year or so.
The whole idea is absurd, especially nowadays when people live in a whole more isolated ways, further away, and not just a few houses away in the same villages as hundreds of years ago.
This subject is gonna become a YT talk.
It is really a simple concept.
If it is what you gotta do then they you either do it or you don't.
Strip away the nonsense and things become very clear. Sometimes, it's just time to go for it!
Close friends and immediate family, yes.
