I finished binding of issac, enter the gungeon, roguelegacy, dungreed (mostly), atomicrops, our darker purpose, etc
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1157390/King_Arthur_Knights_Tale/
In that if you lose a boss fight, or dungeon, it feels like you just lost everything and need to start over again from scratch. You have stats, carry weight, gear with randoms stats via loot crates, etc.
Every map, you also need to build a new base. And some people play it lore accurate aka nothing from a prior map comes to another map. Each map is a fresh start besides your character.
If we wanted to talk about bad roguelites I don't think Dead Cells would be on the list to be fair.
Fine, wait for it to go on sale. Give it a chance. It's not easy to beat without dying.
I see what you did there.
Roguelikes do offer alot to people who enjoy playing with different builds. Just wish the games offered more progression overall. What about a game that uses progress as usual but chops the game into various roguelike places. Once you pass it though you unlock a new area.
