Literally pointless, you can open a brower and see it there.

Account profiles are publicly accessible. You don't need a steam account to view them. So... what will blocking users do?

Even not logged in can see your profile, so blocking would be pointless. You can put your profile to friends only or private to prevent them from viewing it.

Blocking still won't prevent alt accounts either. For those, you simply report the account and support will (in Valve time) get to it.

I know this, but they at least can't interact or harass someone.

Blocked users already can't interact with your account.

Report and block the alts for harassment.

The block feature is there for you to control what you see on the forum, not what others see.

When you block them it prevents you from seeing their posts, that is how it is intended and cannot be helped that people take it upon themselves to believe otherwise.

We need a 3-way blocking system. The moment you block someone. It boots him off the platform then do the same with you and whichever mod acted upon the ticket.

It's not logic, it's basic functionality. How Steam functions, with profiles being public, makes blocking profile visibility pointless.

Ignoring how Steam is designed because you're stuck on an idea doesn't help your idea.

So you need to demand the obvious, change the design of the steam community to require being logged in to view things like profiles, so users can be blocked from profiles.
