The Steam client context selection (right-click) and also just highlighting any text within the Steam client when using the overlay.

Basically I can copy text from outside Steam and paste it into any Steam text input box, but the Steam client function to copy doesn't do anything (the clipboard is always empty).

If you right click within an actual web view it shows up as 'copy' in the right click. And ctrl-c works as well.

Copy/paste works fine in teh overlay as well. I can copy text from a Note using ctrl-c and copy it into the desktop fine. Also the reverse works fine, I can copy text from the desktop and paste it into a note in the overlay.

You'd probably need to be more specific as to what isn't working, other than maybe a right click context menu not existing, keyboard shortcuts work fine for cut/paste. Again as long as what you're doing it for is an actual webview, which encompasses most things on the Steam UI

I can't be more specific than "the context menu Copy option doesn't do anything".

Google it. The issue is well documented.

Just because it's working for you, doesn't mean it's working for all. If yours is fine, you are just confusing the issue for those of us with the problem.

Note if you cant give an actual example of what isnt working, and that the copy/paste using keyboard shortcuts appears to work in most web views, how do you expect anything to be 'fixed' because again, you can't articulate what area specifically isn't working. Again I can copy/paste in both teh client web views like the community or store sections. And I can copy/paste from the notes section in the steam overlay in both directions just fine

If you have a request you have to be specific on what is broken or what exactly you want 'fixed' in what section. Otherwise no one is going to take this seriously if you can't even articulate what the actual problem is.
