Specifically with the game "7 Days to Die" the developers have put out an announcement that was edited post release and has had at least three different versions that all directly contradict each other. I screen shared the first version and a friend screen shared the one he got (a second version) and checking the date at the top they both had the same release time down to the minute, despite clearly being different versions of the same news release. There has been significant confusion caused by this in the post as it is still changing it's contents (at least the third version now) without any notice that it has been edited. If there was a notice at the top that the article has been changed or edited, what the changes were, an accurate time stamp that updates with edits, or a combination of the three, then much of the confusion could have been avoided.
