Steam Cloud unable to sync after changing my laptob
So I recently bought a new laptob (it is on linux rn) and downloaded steam to play Silksong, But when it tries to sync with the steam cloud it just says "Downloading 5%" and then I get an "Unable to sync with steam cloud" error. I tried clearing out the download cache, checking the intehrity of game files, repairing the disk, restarting my laptob and steam but nothing worked.

How do I fix this error? I downloaded the saves from the steam web page but I want so the game sync with the cloud and I dont want to manually save each time.

A common cause of this is the system clock being set incorrectly. Even if it's seconds out, it can cause the problem, so make sure it's set to automatic, preferably using an NTP time server.

If you still have access to the computer with the original saves, it might be a good idea to back them all up with GameSave Manager (free) and restore them on the new computer. I've been doing this for years because I have trust issues with the Steam cloud. 😅

Doh. There's no Linux version. Sorry.

I checked and the system clock is set correctly. Also NTP was active all the time. It didnt solve the issue
