Pretty sure nobody in Valve's employe has gotten the government to arrest you.

If you say things that violate the terms of the private platform, the private platform is not obligated to publish you.

Totally. I remember one forum I helped administrate had this one guy who would- on a fairly regular basis, go off insulting people, name calling them if they didn't agree with everything he said, accusing people of pretty vile things, and at one point went off on some series of nazi-related "jokes" because they were trying to "prove a point" or something.

Obviously, every time they got their thread locked or were given a temporary ban or even just told by a moderator to knock it off or tone it down, they would go off on a tirade about how their first amendment rights are being violated and we have no right to silence them and it's illegal to stop them from saying whatever they want and how they could sue us for it but are willing to resolve this here and now if we back down blah blah blah.

It took 2 years before I managed to convince the moderation team to ban them.

So anyway... where's your help and tips?

Not even close to the same thing here, so no thanks. I'm not a nazi or any of that. It was my opinion on CP2077 and the unnecessary praise it gets for doing the bare minimum and expecting people to basically suck them off in the comments. Too many mods will just abuse power and ban you for basic ass ♥♥♥♥. I'm honestly shocked this post is still up. I'm betting a few butt hurt people reported my CP77 post.

Maybe. In this thread here, it is you though who fails said basic decency, not CDPR. It is you who should actually show decency instead of repeating the same "free speech" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ we've all seen countless times.

And yes, it is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Because you haven't read your first amendment.

I'm sorry, but I'm not the turn-the-other-cheek type. When I feel I've been wronged, I'll express it. But telling me I need to have basic decency to a company that has none and to a mod that seems to have none, sounds like boot licking to me.

I have never told you to have basic decency towards a company. Please don't put words in my mouth I've never said, that, my dude, is indeed failing basic decency between humans. That's the thing my dude, decency applies first & foremost between humans. Not (neccessarily) betweens humans & companies, but between humans. You ASSUMED what I wanted. You didn't ask "did you mean", you went straight to "you meant". That's one part where you failed basic decency. The other is you opening this very thread with profanities. This thread isn't a letter to CDPR forum moderators, my dude. It's a public discussion in a public place and you go into a public place and open right with expletives. No context, no nothing, just expletives. That's where you initially failed basic human decency.

Hell, I wouldn't even really care but it is you who's talking about free speech while using your free speech to, well, fail basic inter-human decency. Which is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, my guy.
