Trade holds are for 15 days, unless you have been friends for at least one year, in which case the hold will be for 24 hours.

I currently accepted a trade offer but it is on a 15 day trade hold. I think it will be 7 days since i accepted the steam mobile authenticator. Will the trade hold be removed once those 7 days have passed or will i still have to wait 15 days. As far as I know trade offers expire after 2 weeks and if i cancel the trade offer I will get a 7 day trade ban. what should i do?

It won't be 7 days. There is no such thing as a 7 day trade hold. It will be 15 days or 1 day, depending on how long you have been friends with the user (if you are friends with the user.)

Mobile Authenticator Added

A Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator provides additional security for your account. Adding an authenticator does not immediately remove existing restrictions. Trades created within the first 7 days of adding the authenticator will still have up to a 15 day trade hold. This allows your items to still be protected and gives you time to recover your account if a malicious actor were to ever add an authenticator to your account.

Recently Cancelled An Accepted Trade

If you choose to cancel any of your accepted trades that are in a trade hold, your account will be restricted from trading for 7 days for your protection.

No. The trade would go through immediately, provided the other person involved in the trade did not cause a trade hold.

If the other person is losing items in the trade, and has not been using mobile authenticator for 7 full days, the trade will still be held for 15 days.

It's so stupid no need to that kinda protection its not a f.. million dollars items. just let me trade + when i sell some items there is cooldown too just WHY!! i cant handle this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ precautions. I wanna trade with my friend who dont log in his acc since very long time. we have to wait 1 month after that send offer and we waited 7 days protection after that 15 days again. ITS JUST F... ITEMS. Steam is acting like here is soooooo safe no man u are just killing my opportunities of discount about games !!!
