PC ports with consoles input prompts
so i've bought some games that were ported to pc from console most of them xbox if i'm sure and i would really like to know why, why port a game to pc and keep the input prompts to xbox controller like why not change them if you can change the keybinds in the control but not change them?

Because most games ported to the PC will have controller support

And 99% of games use Xinput which is an xbox only input system

Meaning that 99% of games will give xbox based input prompts, if you enable a controller, because again most games use xinput and the PS controller doesn't support that.

You answered the question yourself: it's a port. The minimun was done for it to work on pc and that's it.
