Witchfire or Dying Light 2?
I limit how much I spend on games, and this week I have a tough choice, Witchfire is on sale for $40 CAD, Dying Light 2 is on sale for $25 CAD.
Which one should I get?

Depends on what one you would put more time into? DL2 would be my pick but whitchfire looks alright too.

hm thats 2 for dl2
Neither.

Witchfire is early access, so not even finished and there is always a change that such games will never get finished or finished in a different stated then expected. Is it worth taking that chance for $40?

DL2 I can't recommend due to changes after released. As I recall (sine I last played), they made screamers way to sensitive and common. Even walking the the roof, in the first area of the city, they get triggered and you have to deal with a horde of runners. I gave up on this game after trying to do another playthrough (never finished the first, just got close to it) after finding that out. There is a mod one can install to change this behavior, but it hardly seems worth rewarding the developer for (IMHO) was such a bad decision.

I suggest holding out for the Winter Sale as more game will be on sale and even ones currently on sale will likely return for it.

thats now a -2 for witchfire and 0 for dl2
Having the license to both on Steam (completed Dying Light 2, played a few hours of Witchfire) Witchfire is the better game. I'm not sure how you evaluate a games worth, quality vs quantity (hours of content). Dying Light 2 can give you the hours, but Witchfire is a higher quality experience. If you prefer the latter I'd take Witchfire.

edit: Typos.
