SteamVR not dettecting my index anymore. error 108

I set up my indes for the first time in a while today and it sais it isnt detecting a headset, ive got everything pluged in correctly and the base stations are working fine. Anyone else had this issue? The error its giving is 108.

yes happened to me a couple days ago and the issue is still occurring after the latest SteamVR update

yup me too, just fired mine up for the first time in a few months and error 108 hmd not detected. Once i launch steam vr as admin, the headset is detected in windows, but then when I launch a game it doesnt load and Im just stuck in "grid mountain world".
Im happy my headset didnt break like I thought at first, but im still mad, definitely a software issue

May not be a fix for everyone but after unplugging everything, restarting PC and then making sure you open Steam by running as administrator then opening Steam VR, it all started working no issue.
