what year would you figure this game takes place? the future? the nineties? if you're gonna peg the vcr as evidence that it takes place in the past, know i have one i use to this day (our old family VCR. runs like a dream), as well as a crt (it was free on the curb up in south kc, a Panasonic PV-M2079). although.. the no cell phones is pretty damning. it's been a while since i replayed it in one go, so my memory is fuzzy.
