The game is a masterpiece.
To all the people that cry about incest or SA in a game where you kill children, eat and burn people while theyre alive. Grow a spine and get back to reality and don't play psycholical horror games. Yall wouldnt survive Black Souls :aushrug:

I really do think it is a masterpiece as far as the plotting and characterization. It is certainly a one-of-a-kind story we wouldn't have without one person's genius/mania, and it is truly unforgettable at delivering what it offers. I haven't explored all the content available right now but have gotten to the end of current chapter 3 and have been ruminating on everything we learn ever since. It's a *really good story* irrespective of anyone's preference for the content.

The game has yet to be finished, so I'm hesitant to call it a masterpiece atm. But, I do consider it a great game, second only to OMORI in terms of RPG maker games.

If you're fine with much more extreme themes I'd recommend black souls even tho it's censored on steam you can download a patch for the game after buying it on steam and play it uncut. But like I said, it's much darker and brutal theme wise

I love the characters and vibes. Not entirely sure I'd call it a masterpiece but it is a great game. I can think of plenty of games that are much better written than this. Characterization and humor is definitely something Nemlei has got down, dialogue and plotting isn't exactly her strongest aspect. I don't wanna be too harsh on Nemlei's writing since this is all done by one person she doesn't have teams working on this with her but it does feel pretty wattpad at times but there is alot to Andrew and Ashley as people so it's easy to forgive that stuff
