For who is this game?

For those who really want confirmation that Diablo 2 era Blizzard died when they asked if you had phones.

The good:
- The quality of sound effects seems better than Diablo 3
- The animations are buttery smooth, like a console gamer's brain

The bad:
- That same console gamer's brain is what Diablo 4 is aimed at it seems
- *Looks under the hood* oh it's a mobile game with fancy graphics
- The stench of MMO and monetisation is worse than the stench of what I assume to be garbage in New York City. If you haven't been there, it reeks
- Why in the actual flying fork do we need/want a dodge roll? What is WRONG with you Blizzard? Do you need an adult? Or do you hate adults now?

I got the expansion on sale for the story campaign. It takes itself way too seriously for a diablo game, while also treating the player like an idiot. I do not recommend playing the expansion for the story.

I bought this game because it was suggest "great for Steam Deck", and I recently got a Steam Deck (Yay). However, this game is not great for steam deck. Considering the fact that I bought a Steam Deck for games on the go, and this game can not be played without internet, this game should be in the category called "Sucks for steam deck".

Aside from that, the game is alright. A lot of grinding, which again, would be a lot nicer if I could take it on road trips. There's Microtransactions but it doesn't bother me because it's purely cosmetics (I think). The game seems to have a great depth, characters to choose from, skill trees. Cinematics and tracks/sound FXs feels AAA. Side Quests feels kinda repetitive already and I'm just about 2 hours in.

So far, I feel like the Steam Deck (LCD) doesn't even come close to exploring the graphic potential of this game. I am going to try the game on my PC, and come back for a more in-depth review.

To be honest I Just wanted to give it a bad review (for now) because I bought it for the Deck and I can't take it on the road.

Better what i was expected, so addicting game .

I like the gameplay, it is similar to Path of Exile. For a AAA paid game the micro transaction are annoying. After I got the expansion I keep getting graphic errors. A quick search shows this is an issue with the game. I have the latest drivers and the first 80 or so hours were error free. But now I get graphic errors that kick me from the game on a regular basis. I have tried a number of trouble shooting steps but to no avail. Considering Path of Exile is free and far more stable, I can not recommend this game. I was a big Blizzard fan, but it seems to be dying a slow death.

Top quality, and I enjoyed the possibilities for different builds. The story is nice, too! Worth the price.

Diablo 3 was one of the funnest experiences in gaming for me. Diablo 4?

Honestly, I can’t even provide a very in depth reasoning for this but: the game is not fun. Playing Diablo 4 just didn’t do it for me.

All of the random drop side quests are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and stupid. If the devs want to keep the random aspect, then at least make it so that after a certain number of tries you automatically get the quest start drop. hmmmm its not that good like diablo 3 but endgame content is so fun
- if you dont want spend +100 and you dont like new class dont waste money on dlc, main game content will perfectly fit for you
