Why is this game continually freezing and crashing
I have just upgraded to a tower pc, Win 11 16GB ram, AMD Ryzan 5 5500, Nvidea Geforce RTX 5060 Ti, fresh install. I only got the opc a few days ago, but whenever I am playing Diablo IV, after a few mins the game will freeze, then crash. I have set the game to the minimum graphics settings and it still continues to do this. I have verified the game files, updated all my drivers, and disabled any graphics enhancements like DLSS Ray tracing. is it me, or is something not right here?

been dealing with this myself. I've at everything to low or med. all drivers/etc are up to date. I know my Rig isn't powerful but wtf.

only time i noticed a decent play time without crashing is making sure i don't have a lot of background apps running. but that isn't always a solution.
Its a known problem and has been for a while. Its on blizzard to fix

I figured it out, but it is still annoying. I have two monitors and I like to browse youtube on one, while gaming on the other. If I dont use the first monitor while playing D4, the game doesnt crash at all. It seems that the graphics card for some reason, even though it is a decent card with 4X display ports, cannot handle the workload of 2 monitors.
It's not the card, it's the game. If a modern card can't handle a game, it should just be slower, not crash. Crashing indicates bad code.
just install swapfile , maybe 16 gb, or 32 gb of ram... i do this on my steamdeck, i choose 32gb swapfile, game work great, no crashes. (game world, textures, and models eat all ram and video memory)
