Q: On which platforms can I play SnowRunner? 

SnowRunner is available on Steam, EGS, PS4/PS5, Xbox One & Series X|S and Microsoft Store. 

It is also available on Nintendo Switch and Mac, with 16 seasons of post-launch content ready for you to enjoy. However, no further updates or DLCs are scheduled, and the Year 5 Pass is not available for purchase on these platforms.

Q: Is it possible to transfer game progress from EGS to Steam?

Q: Does SnowRunner use the same engine as MudRunner?

No it’s not the same engine for SnowRunner. Saber ported MudRunner’s terrain simulation into its proprietary Swarm Engine, so it’s a completely different engine, but using the same terrain simulation that makes MudRunner, MudRunner. The engine is also the same as the one used on Expeditions: a MudRunner game.

Q: Are there mud maps? 

Absolutely. Mud is in our blood! SnowRunner features maps with snow and maps with mud. 

Q: What additional content can I get for SnowRunner?

You can get additional content by purchasing our five Year Passes including 20 seasons, in addition to a dozen standalone DLCs offering new trucks, skins and add-ons!

Q: Is it possible to test upcoming updates in advance? 

Before we put out major content updates, we usually make them available through a Public Test Server (PTS) on Epic Games Store, where you can test the upcoming content and provide feedback. 

Keep in mind that you will likely encounter bugs on the PTS, since it's a testing environment.

Hey Runners! Just so you know: Switch and Mac won’t get live-ops updates anymore (crossplay stays until November ✅).

Multiplayer is still here, mods are still working on Switch and from now on, the game is yours to shape on these platforms!

Over 100 new missions are coming your way on September 4 in two brand-new maps: Contamination and Wash Out.

→ Roll out with new vehicles like the massive Vostok MU-97 Ant Bridge Layer, plus four variants:

• Tayga 6455B Bridge Layer

• Arminger Thunder “Expeditions”

• Tuz 119 Mutt

• Mule T1 Trailblazer

The Rebuild Expansion content is available for Rebuild Expansion owners and can also be purchased as a standalone DLC.

All players will get the new difficulty options, which let you push your builds further with fuel management, gearboxes, convoy coordination and economy tweaks. You’ll also receive the Wayfarer ST7050 Fuel Truck and various fixes and improvements. 

August was about polish with Patch 3 (bug fixes and small additions).

We also opened the Public Test Server on Steam for all RoadCraft owners featuring the upcoming Rebuild Expansion content!

Get ready! The Ford DLC arrives on September 4, adding two new trucks to your garage:

• Super Duty F-450, a humble workhouse that can handle the hardships of a days-long journey without a single hiccup.

• F150 Raptor 2024, a fast and powerful offroad beast well-known for its outstanding reliability, especially in desert condition

We recently revealed Road Kings, our brand-new truck sim coming in 2026, set in the American South.

Unlike the MudRunner franchise, which focuses on off-road adventures, Road Kings is all about on-road driving. Take the wheel of powerful semis hauling heavy cargo across highways, cities, and rural areas. 🛣️
