I've had my controller for a few months now, and I've been very happy with it up until the last week or so. All of a sudden, mouse input on either trackpad seems extremely jittery, like there
mouse-driven 3D camera control in games/apps, and only appears when those games and apps are launched through Big Picture mode. This issue does not affect UI input (such as when a mouse is used as a cursor e.g

absolutely unresponsive! When I alt-tab out I can use the controller just fine on windows - but alt-tabbing back gives the same unresponsive behaviour.

In this case I used the recommended developer controller
clients
- controller works fine on steam / windows
- controller unresponsive in gmae
- game overlay won't open via steam-button
- GameDVR (Win 10 XBOX app setting) is DISABLED
- PC was restarted

first off steam support is a fukn joke. secondly and most importantly, both of my ps4 and steam controllers are unable to operate properly. when i press a button it has MULTIPLE ways of interpreting
it to, alt tab my game, make my game windowed, left stick is volume up or down, option button starts taking screenshots. i need actuallllll support because right now my controllers are useless.

In Big Picture mode, has anyone else experienced an issue where after going into the steam overlay, returning to the game makes the game unresponsive to the steam controller ? I can still enter and
exit overlay, take screenshots, etc, but the game won't respond to input.

This has been going on for a few weeks now, and I've been staying away from the controller until it's patched, but no luck as of

extra isolated troubleshooting round.

One added note is that when they try to look at the actual guide button chords, they get an empty window saying Steam Input is not enabled on this controller, and
clicking enable does nothing. That despite that any game's controller config shows Steam Input working and configurable as normal. Oddly, it's still like that after the reboot, while mine shows the normal

I was having weird input in Rocket League, I decided to go into Big Picture Mode and Calibrate the SC to see if that helped. I then went into Support to see if there's a problem with the Analog Stick
the input feels better I guess.

Is there an easy fix to this like making the steam controller recognized by windows as good of an input as a mouse is, so its recognized with administrator privileges?
